BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Executive to join our growing team and work in central Minnesota.  Headquartered out of Sauk Rapids, MN.  BCI specializes in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction.

*This position would either located at our Mora, MN office or our Sauk Rapids, MN office, depending on the candidate's location.

Wage:
  • $90k annually and up, depending on experience
    • Bonus structure based on performance
Primary Duties
  • Manage procurement and Gross Margin of the Project Management Team based on individual and team goals.
  • Support and assist building key relationships with clients, vendors, and sub-contractors to present BCI with more opportunities, more competitive proposals, and more effective work.
  • Procure Projects in alignment with BCI corporate goals in regard to current goals, 1 and 3 year goals, and 10-year targets.  These goals anticipate work type, geography, gross profit, self-performed work, client and client type, amongst other considerations. 
    • Assist or manage project from bid awareness to project commencement (pre-project communications & notifications, sub-contractor qualifications, award, and buy-out)
  • Coach and develop Project Management Team in project sequencing to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Lead Project Team through unique issues with clients, vendors, and sub-contractors such as contractual conflict resolution, performance issues, and schedule issues to help minimize company exposure to legal conflict.
    • Assist in the creation of Project Action Plans when the initial plans change regarding sequencing, delays or accelerations in delivery, project disputes, etc.  .
  • Attend Project Kick-Off and Close-Out meetings to assure all the project information is disseminated and returned properly such as project contacts, contracts, cost coding, project documentation, logistics, plans, hourly studies, Sub-contractor performance, etc.
  • Attend meetings with the Chief Operating Officer to help coordinate projects, provide feedback on team, and provide feedback.

Education, Training, and other Requirements:
  • Required:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Administration, or similar experience and education
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction, including at least 5 years of project management leadership role.
  • Preferred:
    • OSHA 30 Card
    • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Projects, Bluebeam, or similar)
    • Experience developing, mentoring, and leading a team.
    • Experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager in a variety of commercial markets, such as healthcare, education, industrial, retail or office
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM
